JPR at JW3

JPR will be featuring again in the launch season of JW3 – London’s new Jewish community centre – with a unique programme in European Jewish history.

The course is being given by JPR’s Director of Operations and European Jewish history specialist, Richard Goldstein. As the curriculum outline states, no one can understand the contemporary Jewish world without being aware of the history and achievements of Jewish communities throughout Europe. The programme promises to examine the sights and sounds of European cities, to remember both the highpoints in Jewish life in Europe, as well as some of its darkest moments. It will focus on Prague, Budapest, Berlin, Cordoba and Seville, Barcelona and Girona, as well as Poland and London.
